My friend Anne Albright asked if I would paint her some props for a presentation that was given at The Cedar’s retirement facility in McPherson KS.
I had great joy in painting this delightful painting, praying that it would bring joy and appreciation to all the little things in life that we take for granted.

If you have never visited the Wichita Kansas Botanical Garden… I certainly encourage you to do so.
The gardens charming atmosphere filled my soul with a calmness as I sat under the flower filled trees along the pathway. I whispered prayers of joy, thanking and praising God for my life as I absorbed the touching wonder and beauty that we are graced with.
It is sad that we take so much for granted and do not take the time to look and see our blessings during our busy schedules.

Family Reunion – PR7052
Summer 2007 our family had our first reunion in years. What a joy it was and what a shock to discover just how small our family was becoming.
On the last day of the re-union we had church in the park. I was invited to be guest speaker with the theme: ”All the little joys in life”. However, being family. When I asked what they would like me to paint that morning… there was a split of choices. So to please everyone, I did a split painting, jumping back and forth with different request of what to include. We had a wonderful time. My family is like a can of mixed nuts… and when you throw in a little salt, it’s just perfect!
