The Newton Carriage Factory Art Gallery is a wonderful art gallery that is very active and supportive in our community.
During the summer artist are invited to display and share their many art forms of creativity.
This day was out of a storybook where the gallery’s garden water fountain danced throughout the day with sprays of refreshing delight to the children and passersby as a small band played soft and gentle music in the back ground.
I was located under the shade of a large paper tree where I painted this Red-Headed Woodpecker as a demonstration.
This delightful day captured personalities and generated excitement for all to enjoy on this sparking Kansas day.

Sunflower ~ Monarch – PR6036
I love painting sunflowers and Monarch butterflies. Sunflowers are the Kansas state flower and Monarch’s have a wonderful moving history of delicate strength and endurance.
My art-demonstration programs last between 30 and 45 minutes on the average with lots of group participation and I have found that these two subjects are always a delight to create and they open doors for wonderful conversation and interaction about all the little pleasures in life.

Nights of Columbus – PR6019
During the Night’s of Columbus men’s gathering. I was asked to give a three hour program for the ladies during the meetings.
This program included two demonstration paintings and had a “Find Your Inner Child” hands-on creative fun time for those participating.
The time flew by with lots of laughter, interaction, and good things to share about all the little pleasures in life.
